Botanical Blocks: Rose

Make It Monday #276
Hello everyone! This week's Make It Monday is a great one led by Melissa Phillips. I just love her style and attention to details in her design. Not only did she challenge us to use our colored pencils; she also led us through her process of creating that shabby-chic, collage look that she does so well.

Because of that, I wanted to make my card as close to hers as I possibly could. Another thing I love about this design is the unique 3.5 x 5.5 sized card. What a nice size to tuck inside a basket of goodies for a loved-one in the hospital or to cheer someone up who is going through a rough time. There is a great tutorial on the blog and plenty of time to play along. Thanks for stopping by!
