|Major PTI Purchase|
Hello fellow paper crafters and bloggers. This week I have been working with Middle and High School students develop test-taking strategies for their state test which is just around the corner. I love working with them, but they have worn me out!!
I recently received a Papertrey Ink haul that I'm afraid to delve into. Yes, this purchase breaks my New Year's Resolution in a big way, but I thought it was time for a little reward. On the paper above, you can see I have stamped several images using a PTI purchase I made several years ago. So the resolution is in-tact, technically speaking. However, there is also a shiny new stamp with about a gillion new stamp pads. [I needed to add tertiary colors to my stamp-pad collection! Rationalization session is now closed. :-)]
My question is...why is it that so many bloggers cannot wait to dig into her/his new stamps and colors...and I am so hesitant? This doesn't make sense to me, and it is troublesome to a certain degree. You can see the image, "This is the day..." stamp. I so want to do a specialized photo/sentiment picture with that stamp and colored images for my son and his girlfriend. And I will!! So, why does it take so long for me to dive into the project? I know what I want it to look like.
I am open to any and all suggestions for jumping in and having fun! In the meantime, spring break starts today at 4:00 p.m. Perhaps slowing down for a few days will spark some creativity playtime. As always, thanks for stopping by!
